Private Log 05: Cat sitting & Television

Jun. 12th, 2008 | 07:00 pm
location: Getting ready...
music: Calli's purring

[No Encryptions here... >3]
Seems that I'm going to be watching after Moonracer's cat for a bit. At least till we find her...

Speaking which, spent a good part of the day cleaning fluff out of my filters and guns. Calli's a sweet heart, but how can such a tiny little thing shed a metric ton of fur? So, while attempting to remove the fuzz, I decided to watch a bit of the local channels and found something called the "Military Channel". Caught a top ten show today that listed the "Best Fighter Planes" in human history. They graded each plane based on five points: The plane's kill rate, it's "Fear Factor", how many were produced and how servicable they were logisitically, how long each was in active use, and innovation in design. The top choice was... interesting to say the least.

  • 10.  F/A-22 Raptor (Which, while scoring great in innovation & fear factor, got panned by the judges overall... )
  •   9.  Sea Harrier FA2
  •   8.  Sopwith Camel (HOLY PRIMUS! Is that a biplane?! XD)
  •   7.  ME 262, aka "The Swallow"
  •   6.  Spitfire (..."the most beautiful" of the list... *snerk*)
  •   5.  --- ( o.0?! They left out fifth place?)
  •   4.  MiG 15 & F86 Saber (...they tied for fourth...)
  •   3.  F4 Phantom ( "Turkey"? I believe my vocabulary has just expanded... >3)
  •   2.  F15C Eagle  (... no comment...)
  •   1. P51D Mustang ( A World War II, prop-engine flier got the top spot? Kup ought be happy to hear this...)
Seriously can't wait to see the "Helicopter" episode... ^^
